Court Fines Shouldn’t Be a Barrier to Employment
Are your court fines preventing you from moving forward in life and securing employment? Forrest Personnel is here to help as an approved sponsor for the Work and Development Permit (WDP) scheme.
What is a Work and Development Permit?
A Work and Development Permit allows eligible individuals to reduce or clear outstanding court fines by completing approved activities instead of making payments. This opportunity becomes available once the Fines Enforcement Registry (FER) has issued a Notice of Intention to Enforce (Court Fine).
Are You Eligible?
You may qualify for a WDP if you’re experiencing any of the following:
- Financial hardship
- Family violence (past or present risk)
- Mental illness
- Disability
- Homelessness or risk of homelessness
- Alcohol or drug use problems
- Other types of significant hardship
How Forrest Personnel Can Help
As an approved WDP sponsor, Forrest Personnel can:
- Assess your eligibility for the scheme
- Work with you to identify suitable activities that match your skills and circumstances
- Submit the WDP application to the Fines Enforcement Registry on your behalf

Getting started is simple:

Don’t Ignore Your Fines
Ignoring court fines won’t make them disappear. If you’re not eligible for a WDP, contact the Fines Enforcement Registry directly to discuss alternative options. Remember, addressing your fines proactively is the first step toward removing this barrier to employment.
