Get Involved – 16 September 2020

Forrest Personnel’s WorkABILITY Day is about celebrating workplace diversity by hosting someone who is keen to work for your business and to showcase their abilities and skills.

Why should your business get involved?

Forrest Personnel is committed to helping businesses benefit from a diverse workforce and helping fill positions with free recruitment services on offer.

WorkABILITY Day challenges local businesses to consider a wider range of job candidates. Our aim is to make local businesses more aware of the pool of capable and talented people keen to work. We want businesses to experience firsthand some of the valuable skills and experiences local community members living with a health condition or disability can bring to your business.

What sort of work experience opportunities are we looking for?

In past years, our WorkABILITY Day participants have filled a variety of positions from graphic design, customer service, administration, parks and garden maintenance, to boilermaker-welder positions and vehicle repairs.

The success of WorkABILITY Day has showed in past years, with many participants securing ongoing employment as a result of their work experience opportunities.
